These terms apply to your use of geobooks.app, a free daily book geography game. By using the site, you agree to these terms. Questions about the service can be sent to info@geobooks.app.

The game

Each daily round has five questions. You choose locations on a map, and the game calculates points based on distance from its selected answer locations. Questions, answers, scoring, and availability may change as the game develops. The content is provided for entertainment and may contain errors or approximations.

Accounts and scores

You can play with an anonymous browser session. If you clear your browser data before linking an account, you may lose access to that session and its scores. You can connect a supported sign-in method to keep access to your GeoBooks account. Keep access to that sign-in method secure. A reader name and completed score may appear publicly on the daily leaderboard; your email address is not displayed there.

Fair use

Use the service lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other players or the site's operation. Do not automate guesses, manipulate scores or leaderboards, attempt to access another user's account, or overload the service. We may restrict access or remove abusive or misleading leaderboard entries to protect the game.

Content and third-party services

GeoBooks includes original game text and uses third-party map, authentication, and advertising services. Their own terms and policies may apply when you use those services. Do not copy or republish the game's content or assets except as permitted by law or with permission. You may share the result text generated by the game's Share score feature.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the game available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that scores will always be retained. We may fix, change, pause, or end parts of the service. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest update. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service.
